love it....i have been really convicted about declaring God's praises in my performance at school. God's been dealing with me on how it looks to other people when i claim to be a Christian but am not getting homework done and all that stuff. I am so excited as well as convicted when I hear Charlie talk about being the Church in everyday life. it's a reminder that everywhere I go, i carry God's name and His reputation. am i repin Him well? that question, i feel, should be what drives our actions
Wow Mikey.... every time I hear people talk about carrying God's reputation on our shoulders, it hits me hard. God's reputation in the world is determined how I live my life. Do people around me say "Caitlin is all about Jesus" when I do dishes with my roommate, wait in the grocery line, talk to my doctor, write a school paper, or walk around downtown? That is alot to live up to! However, I am always encouraged because I know God is only going to call me to something which He will equip me for. He has equipped us as small group leaders and as members of Genesis to bear HIS name!!! Am I striving with all my might to do that?!? Well, I could definitely try harder.
