Since we believe that Christ followers shouldn't just GO TO church but that they should BE the church, Acts 2 Communities are the lifeblood of Genesis.  Acts 2 Communities get their name from Acts 2:42-47.  They are smaller groups of Christ followers meeting during the week throughout Santa Cruz County.  4 simple yet profound phrases define these communities: transforming, loving, inviting and Bible-centered.  It's our prayer that our people become more like Jesus as a result of being the church as they live in Acts 2 Community.
