If you miss a day, just pick up on the current day’s reading. You don’t need to feel guilty and you don’t have to catch up because you might very well end up discouraged. Reading the Bible is about cultivating a relationship with God, not about checking something off your todo list. There is no good in spending time and energy criticizing yourself; use that time and energy to pick up God’s Word and read.
