There are times when the Bible can be difficult to understand. Before you begin reading, ask God to open your eyes and heart to what He wants you to learn. When you are reading, there is no need to be discouraged by the parts that you don’t understand. It is much more productive to focus on what you do understand. The more you read God’s Word and the more you listen to God-honoring sermons and read God-honoring books, the more you will begin to understand His Word.
